Estonian Air Navigation Services AS (EANS), together with air navigation service providers from the Czech Republic and Finland, has established the international cooperation alliance SkyBridge. Its aim is to harmonise air traffic management systems, strengthen cross-border cooperation, and accelerate the modernisation of air traffic management in Europe.

Estonia is soon stepping into a new era of digitalized aeronautical information, where traditional manually created urgent aviation notices, or NOTAMs, will begin to move in digital form and become machine-readable. The national air navigation service provider, Lennuliiklusteeninduse AS (EANS), is making preparations for this transition, having recently signed a cooperation agreement with the international technology company Frequentis.

The Estonian Air Navigation Services (EANS) is upgrading its air surveillance systems to enhance Estonia's energy security and promote the use of green energy. These upgrades will facilitate the construction of taller offshore wind farms in the Gulf of Riga and on Estonia’s islands in the future.
