Estonian ANS to hold annual Customer Open Day
Customer Open Day 2013 will be conducted at the premises of Estonian Air Navigation Services (Kanali tee põik 3, Rae vald), on May 16; during the event, an overview of the developments in the field of air navigation services will be given and discussions on cooperation with customers and partners will take place.
Tanel Rautits, Chairman of Management Board /CEO of EANS hopes that the number of attendees will be no less than in previous years. “Time is flying. But since the time we met last time, we have implemented a new ATM System, and right now we are getting ready to satellite-based navigation procedures. We have a lot to show and share. As usual, the contribution of our users is most welcome, and we hope that our dear customers will do their best to attend and to share their expectations and concerns,” added Mr Rautits.
This year’s themes are: ”Air Navigation Services: Safety Overview”, „Implementation of new technologies and procedures“ and “P-RNAV project and its implementation”; presented by visiting attendees “Saber Strike 13 and other military exercises”, “NEFAB: state agreements”, „Endeavours of Tartu municipality and Airport in light of flight services“, “Unmanned flights in controlled airspace” and EANS consultation with customers on the national Performance plan and charging regulation. The consultations will be supported by representatives of Estonian CAA and Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications. The agenda can be found here.
Representatives of EANS cooperation partners and Estonian airspace users are expected to participate in the event; traditionally it is attended by representatives of Estonian Air, Tallinn Airport, Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications, Estonian CAA and Air Force.
Since there are some foreigners participating in the event, the presentations are going to be in Estonian with slides in English and the consultation on Performance plan and Charging Regulation – in English.
