29.06.2000  New Administrative Building
  Record of acceptance of the new administrative building. The author of the project was Mr. Raivo Puusepp, the company "Eesti Ehitus" provided its construction
 
03.07.2000  Opening ceremony of the New Administrative Building
  The ceremony was attended by the customers, partners of Lennuliiklusteeninduse AS as well as by construction specialists.
 
22.08.2000  The first General Meeting of BAN – Baltic ATSO (Air Traffic Services Operators’) Network
  Its participants were:
  • EUROCONTROL
  • Latvias Gaisa Satiksme (LGS)
  • Directorate of Civil Aviation of Lithuania (LDCA)
  • Lenneliklusteeninduse AS (EANS)

The need for such a network was discussed and a common project was launched. The outcome was a short-term co-operation Project, the objectives of which are to do a feasibility study of the network, its financial analysis and offer probable solutions. The result of these activities must be the future of the BAN Project – go/no-go decision.

 
02-03.11.2000  RVSM Technical Briefing for Air Operators and Certifying Authorities
  Two sessions will be organized by EANS, ECAA and Eurocontrol to provide latest information on RVSM programme progress and to answer technical questions which may be in place during conversion to RVSM environment. The Briefing will be conducted for CIS, Baltic and Scandinavian airlines/authorities.
 
21-23.11.2000  RVSM Functional Hazard Assessment
  The Functional Hazard Assessment (FHA) will be conducted by EANS, Eurocontrol and Integra Consult, under umbrella of European RVSM Programme. The goal of the FHA session is to identify risks and hazards
which may occur in the RVSM/Metric Transition area after RVSM implementation in January 2002.
A number of persons from aviation Industry will be invited to participate in the FHA session, including Air Traffic controllers from Ukraine, Lithuania and Latvia.
 
30.11-01.12.2000  The Fifth Seminar- Workshop of Estonian Aviation Management
  The Fifth Seminar- Workshop of Estonian Aviation Management took place in Puhajarve, the main issues for discussions were:

  • Estonian National Aviation Development Plan
  • Estonian education policy and aviation education
  • Euro-integrationDevelopment visions
  • Other business.
