Last year the directors from the six Air Navigation Service Providers in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Finland and Estonia agreed on a Nordic ATM Service Concept. The initiative has extended to the North European ANS Providers Cooperation after joining of 7th member - Irish CAA (IAA).
The signing of the Memorandum of Co-Operation took place on 13 February at ATC Maastricht 2007 Exhibition at 2 p.m.

The overall objective of The North European ANS Providers is to provide cost effective services to their customers, with a constant focus on safety, reasonable costs and quality of services. They should contribute to the growth in the air transport sector and strengthen their position in the European ATM market.
After the signing ceremony the representatives of the ANSP service providers participated in mass media interviews.
