As the beginning of year 2003 was difficult for the aviation industry due to the war in Iraq and especially the global extension of the SARS virus, the Estonian Air Navigation Services decided since April 1st 2003 to relief the burden of airlines by introducing a 10% discount rate for en-route navigation charges from April 01, 2003 to December 31, 2003.

Today we acknowledge the positive developments in air traffic volumes through Estonian airspace, and Estonian Air Navigation Services is pleased to inform you that we have decided to maintain the 10% discount rate for en-route navigation charges for the full year 2004.

Taking into account the aforementioned discount rate, the ENC unit cost for airlines will continue to be 338,40 EEK (21,63 EUR).
