25.01.2006  Collaboration meeting between NATO and Baltic States
 

On the 25th of January NATO and Baltic States aviation workshop took place the Estonian ANS facilities. There were discussed the following topics: update of the co-ordination procedures between air traffic control centres and air policing low level flights süstem. The representatives from Civil Aviation Authorities, Air Navigation Services providers and Air Foces took part in the workshop.

EANS Supervisory Board at its 80-th General Meeting discussed petitions for sponsorship and took the decision:

  • to support the organisations as follows:

    Tartu Kultuurkapital (O.Tauri fond) 30.000,00 EEK
    Reval Hotels Cup 50.000,00 EEK
    Tartu Aviation Museum 50.000,00 EEK
     
  • to consider other petitions in 6 months.
 
06.02.2006  Client’s Day is coming soon!
 

29 March 2006 traditional annual EANS Client’s Day will be held again.

Time range: 09.30 - 14.00
Venue: EANS Administrative building, ground floor, conference room.

The discussion issues for this year are as follows:

  • Oversight of safety-related occurrences in air traffic in 2005 (both regulator and provider);
  • Oversight of the changes in air traffic services;
  • Preparation for EC Regulation number 2096/2005 and other documents laying down common requirements for the provision of air navigation services;
  • Overview of Customer satisfaction inquiries in 2006;
  • Discussions on customers’ proposals and expectations;
  • Exchange of flight safety related experiences.
 
30.03.2006  At the meeting of estonian Air pilots.
 

On 28th of March the regular meeting of pilots of  Estonian Air took place.  Also the representatives from our company  - A.Ellen and V.Popov from ATC Department, have been invited to take part.



 

 

 
30.08.2006  NEC (Northern Executive Commitee) meeting.
 

On 24.-25.August the meeting of NEC ja SB commitees of ANSPs was held in Rungsted, in Denmark.

 

As the results, the following principles and acitivities have been approved:

-          ATM Service Concept
After some amendments, the Concept was  endorsed and  signed. It means that NEC will continue with the ATM Master Plan drafting;

-          ATC Maastrich exhibition.
The proposal to arrange an exhibition was endorsed. NEC and SB members were tasked to assign the members whose responsibility will be to find out the method of sharing the expenses and to communicate by correspondence;

-          New Work organisation, ToR Strategic and Executive committees.
The proposal got endorsed that the NEC shall nominate the members , whose responsibility will be to work out the terms of reference for every body of a new organization
 

-          LCIP Focal Points.
Has been agreed that the document will be used for a conduct of regional co-ordination of CIP objectives;

- FAB studies.   A proposal to task NEC to establish a working group for FAB studies was endorsed;


 

 
14.12.2006  Updating LCIP document
 

On 6-8 December EANS hosted a meeting aimed at updating LCIP document in light of European SES Project. There were also discussions about the new objectives of European CIP document and European Safety Plan. Representatives of ECAA and Tallinn Airport also took part in the meeting.

 
15.12.2006  Nordic Executive Committee (NEC) working meeting
 

On the 14th of December EANS hosted NEC/26 (Nordic Executive Committee) – a working meeting within the frames of Nordic States cooperation project. There were three main discussion issues in the agenda: ATM Service Service Concept Communication Plan, Memorandum of Cooperation as well as establishing FAB, ADS-B and SNAC (cooperation between ACCs) working groups. Participation in Maastricht 2007 exhibition was also discussed. The meeting was attended by Mr. Patrick Kennedy, an observer from Irish CAA.
