At the beginning of 1990-s we started developing own national Air Traffic Management System in Estonia, gradually  replacing the Aeroflot Structure by a modern, satisfying all international requirements and efficiently functioning establishment.

The modernisation process was radical and vast and covered all major areas, including both regulation and legislation base on the state level and air traffic and aeronautical information services, communication and navigation systems, management strategies, including personnel policies, - on the organisational level. This process urged to apply the main principles functioning in the aviation sector as well as the latest technical solutions and equipment. The Aviation Act of the Republic of Estonia appeared.

The initiator and leader of the modernisation process was EANS predecessor – ATS Department of the Civil Aviation Administration; it worked in close cooperation with the national Government.

To date a modern, widely internationally recognised aviation sector has been created; the best evidence of it is the improving relations with the customers and the growing flow of traffic.

The experience accumulated through the reorganisation of the aviation sector is unique; it has found practical implementation in different consultancy projects.

We have been involved in consultancy services since 1997.

The objectives

The objectives of the consultancy services can be described as follows: Development of the legislative base and air traffic services sector as a whole in order to ensure safety and improve efficiency of the air transport system.
