Economic Performance

The economic functioning of EANS is based on principles similar to any other business entity - investments and expenditures are considered to meet the expectations and needs of our customers, the welfare of the owner on a long run as well as developing and motivating our personnelle.

The revenue trend of the company, operating as a business entity since 1998, has been continuously on the upturn - price reduction and increased air traffic flow made it possible. Despite the lowest prices in the region and really hard times for the industry we have managed to end with net profit exceeding owner's expectations each financial year.

The implementation of the business driven policies in the company allowed it to become the most efficient ANS Provider in Europe as proved by benchmarking exercises done for several years by EUROCONTROL/PRU.

The key factor leading us to this success was adapting to the expectations of main stakeholders and becoming:

  • a respected service provider for airlines, our customers - we promote the principle of equity: good quality services and equal prices for all groups of customers;
  • an employee-friendly employer - in the personnel strategy our position is: proper remuneration of the devoted and arduous work, provision of decent working environment and stimulation of individual professional development;
  • a profitable company to owner - the expectations of the state as the owner for the return on equity have been met all financial years since EANS became a business entity.
